Outline is Knockdown Center’s live music festival, highlighting both the expressive power of sound and the full expansive potential of the venue’s 50,000 square feet. No two Outlines are the same, but there’s a common thread: No matter what kind of show we’re presenting, each edition brings  cutting edge, uncompromising artists. And each edition uses the venue in a fresh way, situating the performers throughout the building and grounds according to the needs of the night or day. Everyone we put on is doing something singular and unique, each installment is genre-agnostic and ingeniously curated, with the intent to bring out the best in the artists and Knockdown Center’s physical design.

En route to completing two-dozen editions since beginning in February 2020, past Outline presentations have featured Boy Harsher, ESG, Jessy Lanza, Magdalena Bay, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Jlin, Standing on the Corner, Crumb, Matmos, Michael Rother, Yaeji, The Armed, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky, and many more.
